Only because people assume that being quotstraightquot is the normalusual occurence. What if being gay quotwas the normalquot and being quotstraightquot was as gay is today? Theyre different because they are not like anyone else. Neither are you are me. They are just as different as anyone else. And I would like to comment on a posting...brbrquotI am straight but you dont see me, or anyone else who is straight for that matter going around having parades, clubs or bar specifically for them... quotbrbrCouldnt you consider s t r i p clubs quotstraightquot bars? Gays do go in clubs like that, but there are usually clubs specifially for them because there are so many people that are uncomfortable with them. And you said bars specifically for them...yeah. Do you knwo how hard it is for gays too meet each other? I know that if I were gay, Id be glad there are bars like that...you can meet people, and you dont ahve to be tormented or embarassed trying to pick up somebody in another bar..ansd they end up being straight! Tahtd be humiliating. And parades... gay pride. Because the society views them as being so quotdifferentquot they are proud of it. Would you ahve a parade and boast about being quotnormalquot?? Or about something that you see evry day? No you wouldnt. So thank you.
